Great Eastern turns 100 on 26 August 2008. On this special day, we will be giving out our limited edition "Celebrating Life@100" umbrellas to a total of 1,000 policyholders who present our celebration coupon at Great Eastern Centre. This coupon will be published in the TODAY and Wo Bao (My Paper) newspapers on 26 August 2008.

We will be giving out the umbrellas at the following times and venue:

And that is not all! You will be eligible for a special lucky draw on the same day. If your coupon is picked by the DJs at our Live Radio Mobile shows at 2 pm or later at 7 pm, you will win shopping vouchers worth a total of $1,000! You do not have to be present during the draw to win the prize. The winner will also be notifed via post.

Live Radio Mobile Shows at Great Eastern Centre on 26 August 2008
Come celebrate our 100th birthday with us on 26 August 2008! Great Eastern Centre's Podium, 1 Pickering Street, will be transformed into a carnival ground at the following time slots.

Lunch Time Celebration: Class 95FM, 12 noon to 2 pm.
The mobile radio will be stationed at Great Eastern Podium with DJs, Flying Dutchman and Glenn Ong, doing live radio for 2 hours. There will be quizzes on stage with attractive give-away prizes. Games stations will be set up and policyholders can participate and walk away with special Centennial prizes! In addition, there will also be a giant 100th anniversary cake-cutting ceremony.

Evening Time Celebration: YES 93.3 FM, 5 pm to 7 pm.
Be entertained by DJs Pei Fen and Cruz Teng (Zhi Yong)! This will be a repeat of the lunchtime program in Mandarin. On top of that, there will also be a distribution of our special Centennial Cakes (while stock last)!
