Great Eastern wins the prestigious
Call Centre of the Year Award 2002
(below 50 seats)!

Great Eastern Call Centre came in as the top five finalists in the Call Centre Awards Presentation Ceremony and was selected as the Call Centre of the Year with another non-financial company. Great Eastern is the first insurance company to win this award in Singapore.

All applicants went through a rigorous short-listing, followed by submission of call center performance data for the last two years. An Evaluation Team, comprising foreign Call Centre Experts carried out on-site audit and interviews.

In the glittering ceremony in Shangri-La on Saturday, 8.11.2002, Great Eastern was presented the cup by Freddy Soon from Spring. During that event, Great Eastern was also awarded as the Runner-Up Trophy for the Corporate Charity Donation for the Gracehaven home.

This achievement and honor reflect the company's on-going commitment for customer service excellence. According to Mabel Soh, Vice-President of the Call Centre, "The true winners are our valued policyholders"!

A new book " Road to Call Centre Excellence", born out of Great Eastern's winning of the 2002 Best Call Centre Award, has been published by Great Eastern to share its experience with the Industry.
