WIM which holds a Capital Markets Services Licence (CMS 000077-1) is a subsidiary of Wellington Management Company, LLP. WIM conducts business development, multi-functional client support services and investment management activities primarily in the Asia Pacific region. Wellington Management Company, LLP, which is registered with the US Securities and Futures Exchange Commission as an investment adviser, is integral in the provision of investment management services to clients contracted with WIM.

With over US$550 billion as at 31 July 2008 in client assets under management, Wellington Management serves as an investment adviser to approximately 1,500 institutions located in over 40 countries. Tracing its roots to the founding of Wellington Fund in 1928, the firm is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and also has offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Radnor, Pennsylvania; San Francisco, California; Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Sydney, Tokyo, as well as in Singapore.
