We are very proud of the top performers in our agency force. There are 559 agency leaders and life planners who are being honoured for their outstanding achievements in 2008. They have worked very hard and have emerged as the most productive agency force in Singapore. We garnered the lion share of nearly 26% of the life industry's new business via the agency channel. I am encouraged by their dedication and commitment to customers and how they carry out their job with the utmost professionalism. I also want to commend our Achievers for making a big-hearted decision to forgo their usual extensive spread of recognition press advertisements and to donate the money saved to charity instead. I am encouraged to see our agency force live up to our mission of making life great for others, especially the less privileged. Now into its second century, Great Eastern will continue to work closely with the agency force to ensure that our customers are adequately covered at every stage of life.
